It is always a pleasure to go to Robert Sinskey's winery located on our Yountville Oaknoll maps (http://www.vinduvin.com/wineryLocator~ValleyID~25.html)

Yesterday and was greeted by Michelle, a fellow New Yorker to boot! She was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the wine. I ventured to taste their Pinot Noir, a reserve cabernet, and a late harvest Pinot Gris. I wasn’t too fond of the Pinot Noir but that’s just me, i am not fond of any pinots unless it is from Oregon. Their Cabs, on the other hand, have been one of my select favorites. The Pinot Gris, a late harvest wine, was very very nice Smile

The Tasting room offers, fresh olives and crackers to cleanse the pallet between wines. a view of the winery from the bar and some art peices.
